Welcome! We are proud host the 8th annual Muterspaw Championships from Saturday, April 26 through Tuesday, April 29, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our home site is the Amanda & Stacy Darling Memorial Tennis Center. Located only 20 minutes from the Strip, this beautiful facility features 23 hard courts, including a 3,500 seat stadium court. It is Nevada's largest public outdoor tennis facility and is also the site for the 2008 Tennis Channel Open.
All USTA members in the "12 and under" through "18 and under" boys and girls age divisions are invited to enter. Acceptance into this 32-draw tournament is determined by a USTA standardized selection process. It states that in each division, 25 players will be selected from the National Standing List (NSL) of the division of the event. 6 players will be selected from the top 200 players on the most recent NSL of the next-younger age division. 1 player may be selected by wild card. This wild card will be earned through a qualifier, open to residents of Southern Nevada only.
All main draw singles matches will be the best of three tiebreak sets using regular scoring. In all singles divisions, we are offering a full feed-in through the Quarter Finals. Main draw matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets. Consolation matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10-point tiebreaker played in lieu of the third set.

Adidas Clinic with Wayne Bryan
Come join us for a free warm up clinic with tennis clinician Wayne Bryan, father of the world #1 ranked Mike and Bob Bryan. The clinic will be held right before check in on Friday, April 25th from 5-6pm at the Darling Tennis Center. Wayne will be running drills, games, and giving away Adidas prizes. You do not need to RSVP for the clinic…please just arrive a little before 5pm. You don’t want to miss this!

CHECK-IN INFORMATION
Players will receive a gift bag and t-shirt at check-in on Friday, April 25 from 6PM to 9PM at the home site, the Darling Tennis Center. The player party will be held during this time and we hope you’ll join us for great food and fantastic raffle prizes. If you are unable to make check-in, please contact someone on the tournament staff.

The Tennis Recruiting Network – also known as TennisRecruiting.net – is the premier website for junior tennis. There is something for everyone – junior players, their parents, college coaches, and fans. Weekly rankings by graduation year show how recruits stack up against each other. Players can market themselves to college coaches by updating their player profiles – completely free of charge. Coaches can add players to their “watch lists” and receive email updates about recruit activity. With extensive information about tens of thousands of recruits – and articles from recruiting experts and former coaches – there is something for everyone at TennisRecruiting.net. Photographers from TennisRecruiting.net will be in attendance for the majority of the Muterspaw Championships taking action photos. If you do not want to be photographed at the tournament please send something in writing to darian@agassi.net or notify the tournament desk at check-in.
DOUBLES
The Muterspaw tournament will be holding boys and girls doubles (no mixed). Players must play in the same division they are registered for in singles. Players may sign up at check-in on Friday, April 25th. The doubles entry fee is $10 per player and will be collected at check-in.
OTHER INFORMATION
A continental breakfast is provided daily for all players at the Darling Tennis Center. In addition, Waterford trophies are given to the winners of the 18’s and 16’s singles divisions.
